You will have everything you need for your new puppy, we advise setting up their food and water as soon as they arrive at your home. It’s normal for them to not eat immediately, as they need time to adjust to their new environment and new people. However, within 24 hours, they should be eating on their own. They should be fed three times a day, with some snacks included. You can easily purchase their food from pet stores or online platforms like Amazon. The recommended feeding amount can be found on the back of the puppy food bag, but remember that it is per day, not per feeding. Fresh water should always be available to them. If you decide to change their food, it’s best to introduce it gradually alongside their current food to avoid any digestive issues. During their time with us, puppies are potty trained to use puppy pads. We highly recommend getting a crate, puppy playpen, or at least a baby gate to provide them with their own designated area when you’re not at home. Just like babies, puppies should not have full run of the house until they are a bit older.
